The main research fields of BioIRC are biomedical simulations and experiments regarding this field.

PROGRAM FOR 2D AND 3D FLOW OF INCOMPRESSIBLE VISCOUS FLUID WITH HEAT  TRANSFER

  1. Laminar incompressible flow for steady and unsteady flow, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid.
  2. Mixed and penalty formulation, conductive and convective heat transfer with fluid-structure interaction.
  3. ALE formulation, adaptive methods, multi-grid method.

One of the fileds where Center is also involved is develoment of methods and software for analysis of geological data. Majority of this research is incorporated into Lizza-PAKP software system intended for flow analysis in porous domains. 

The aim of this kind of applications is to improve scientific research, as well as to help in medical documentation management. 

Class of Problems: Small displacements with nonlinear materials (MNO), stability analysis, postcritical structural response, nonlinear dynamics, contact and impact problems with all kinds of nonlinearities, large displacements with small strains, large strains.
